Once the TCP/IP connection is established between the BlackDog and the host, applications can access the BlackDog through ssh and the corresponding utilities: scp, sftp, and so forth. These commands are found in the openssh package in most Linux distributions. Windows hosts can use the openssh package that is available through the Cygwin suite, or alternatively use the open source program PuTTY.
