BlackDog SDK Package
The BlackDog SDK package includes:
- DVD containing SDK software and online documentation
- Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable
- BlackDog device
DVD Contents
The BlackDog SDK contains the following:
- Blackdog-sdk-linux.sh (for Linux). An executable shell script which is suitable for installation on x86 host Linux systems.
- Setup.exe (for Windows) . A self-extracting script which is suitable for installation on x86 host Windows systems.
- README.TXT File. Contains instructions to help you get started, as well as last minute information, such as caveats and known issues that are not included in the SDK documentation.
- doc. Contains the SDK documentation.
Installed SDK Contents
Blackdog-SDK Root Directory
The Blackdog-SDK Root Directory contains the following:
- SDK Executable Files. Contains SDK binary files, including the Qemu emulator launch script for the Development Emulator,
called
launch-dev.sh (for Linux) and launch-dev.bat (for Windows). This script starts the Development emulator, using your developer machine's resources to speed compiles and application run-time.

Blackdog-SDK Subdirectories
In addition to the root-level files, the SDK includes the following subdirectories:
- doc. Contains this document. You load the top-level index.htm in a Web browser to view the welcome page for the SDK online help.
- src. Contains the source files for the login sample application, Manager (Realm-manager) , and Networking (Realm-networking).
- qemu. Contains the Qemu emulator file.
- cross. Contains the cross-compiler for the BlackDog (Linux only).
